Despite the rain, thunder and lightning in the late afternoon on June 9, the clouds rolled out by 5:30 p.m., and the Luna Chix had a beautiful evening for their first Luna mountain bike clinic, helping a few community members learn or perfect their mountain bike skills. The event, part of Boulder's Walk & Bike Month, was held at the CU Research Park and was free and open to anyone who wanted to join. The Luna Chix held another clinic last night as well.
Luna Pro Rider, Chloe Forsman, introduced women to the love of mountain biking during this women only clinic. Helping to get women (and all others) in tune with their bicycles helps them to realize that bikes are not only fun, but they are an excellent source of transportation, one of the mantras of Boulder's Walk & Bike Month.
