27J Finance Department awarded

For the 18th time, the School District 27J Finance Department has been awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association for its comprehensive annual financial report. The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting, and the award represents a significant accomplishment.

27J Executive Director of Finance Nancy Burgess credited the entire finance staff for the award and recognition.

The comprehensive financial report prepared by the 27J Finance Department has been judged by an impartial panel to meet the high standards of the GFOA program, including demonstrating a constructive "spirit of full disclosure" to clearly communicate its financial story
