BRIGHTON -- Santa Claus, aka John Blackburn of Brighton, gets a detailed listed of desires from 4-year-old Cassidy Wilson of Brighton on Dec. 13 in the basement of the Terrence Lucero Building in Brighton.

Blackburn is an official member of the Amalgamated Order of Real Bearded Santas who has been dressing up at jolly 'Ole St. Nick for the last 20 years.

He said the best part of his job is visiting children in police shelters.

"They've never met a man who has been kind," he said.
