ALUMINUM STAIRS STOLEN
Two aluminum stairs were reported stolen at 8:46 a.m. April 15 from a construction site on the 4400 block of Oxbow Drive in Brighton. The stairs were stolen sometime that night. Estimated cost of the stairs is $700 each.
CAR BROKEN INTO ON 8TH AVENUE
A car broken was into and items were reported stolen from a truck on the 100 block of South 8th Avenue at 11:13 a.m. The owner of the truck, a Brighton woman, said she was awoken by her cat the morning of April 13 to see someone rummaging through her truck. The registration, a cell phone charger and keys to the building where she works was stolen. Estimated value of the stolen items was $114. Estimated value of the damage to the truck is $180.
JUVENILES THIRST TO SHOPLIFT
Two juveniles were cited on suspicion of shoplifting at 12:51 p.m. April 15 from King Soopers, 500 E. Bromley Lane. One tried to steal a can of soda, the other a bottle of iced tea. Estimated value of the items was $3.48.
