Officer's home burglarized, gun stolen. Police are asking for the public's help in finding a burglar who stole several items from a Northglenn officer's home. The burglary was reported Oct. 30. Several items were stolen, including the officer's Glock 26 handgun with a full magazine, laptop computer and television. Keys for a 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser belonging to a friend also were taken and used to steal the vehicle from the driveway. Police uniforms and equipment were in the residence, but weren't taken.

Man arrested in domestic violence dispute. A 32-year-old Northglenn man was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault Oct. 22 after he struck his pregnant wife. The incident occurred at around 4:45 p.m. at the couple's home on the 10400 block of Cook Court. The man allegedly pushed a chair into a kitchen table, which then slid into the woman's stomach. The woman, who is 29 weeks pregnant, responded by throwing a glass of water in his face.

Teen takes a swing at officer. A 17-year-old male is facing a number of charges after he allegedly got drunk and threatened several people with a chain. The juvenile apparently got into an argument with another male party in the parking lot of Boondock's, 11425 Community Center Drive, and used the chain to strike his car. When officers arrived, he put the chain down, but punched an officer in the chest as he was being detained.

Indecent exposure reported. A man was seen fondling himself in a restaurant parking lot Oct. 21. An employee at Einstein Brothers Bagels, 9392 N. Sheridan Blvd., called police after she saw the man masturbating in his car at around 7:23 a.m. He left after the woman called 911.

Leaf blower incident leads to fall. A 56-year-old Westminster woman is pursuing charges against a maintenance worker who allegedly caused her to fall and break her leg Oct. 19. The woman, who was riding a three-wheel scooter due to a physical handicap, was walking her Poodle near West 76th Drive and Depew Street when the worker pointed a leaf blower at the dog in a "jabbing motion." The blower "terrified" the dog, which yanked the leash and pulled the scooter over. The woman suffered a broken femur on her right leg.
