Child safety seat help
Contributed by: Donna Ulrey on 4/28/2008

Child safety seats can be confusing, and the questions seemingly
endless, but help is available. Make sure your children are
protected. It takes only 10 to 15 minutes for a nationally certified
technician to make sure that car seats are properly installed
(approximately 80% are not) and not on the recall list. The next
upcoming car seat safety checkpoints in Brighton will be:

May 10 at PLATTE VALLEY BANK AND TRUST drive through lanes from
12:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
2380 E Bridge Street, Brighton.

May 12 at PLATTE VALLEY MED CENTER (parking lot) 1600 Prairie Center
Parkway from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. There are signs and orange
safety cones to point the way.

If your car seat is on the recall list, too old, or damaged,
replacements are available for a donation.
