Pillow-Talk Presidency
Contributed by: mildred andersen on 3/29/2008

Among other things I don't understand is politics, and I'm too old to learn.

The most puzzling thing to me is how did Hillary Clinton become a contender for the highest office in our land? A virus of some kind involving collective amnesia in the powers that be? Does no one remember she and her husband were responsible for making the oval office the laughing stock, the shameless scandal, presidential perjury, sexual exploits and what should have been national disgrace? And yet, here we go again. True, it was not her doing in the first place and she chose the route of the martyred wife who stood by her man, an enabling, only and wisest choice she had....look where its brought her. If she wins the candidacy and the election do not fool yourselves into thinking she is the first woman president. It would be the first wife and husband presidency . I can picture her proudly marching down red carpets with pomp and circumstance to the strains "Hail To The Chief" and Bill a few steps behind shaking hands, winking, thumbs-upping as if to say "aint she something and she's all mine". Hillary would be in a great position to take some sweet revenge on Bill but I believe in some perverse way she needs him.

I am only pretending to be an amateur psychologist but I fervently hope America does not end up with a pillow-talk presidency. Especially with the caliber of candidate(s) Hillary and Bill!
