Lady Thunderhawks volleyball sweep Arvada HS

Prairie View Thunderhawks Varsity Volleyball team had a great start to their 2009-2010 season with a 3-0 win against Arvada High School. The Lady Thunderhawks swept Arvada HS with a 25-6, 25-10, 25-15 win. The ladies are lead by Coach Amy Grace. Emily Alexis was top athlete with kills and serving aces. Nisa Garcia led in assists, and freshman Ciera Borho led in digs. Others who played in the game were Paige Douglas, Jordan Ennis, Sara Walker, Emilee Knott, Aubrey Mangers and Courtney Gallegos. Prairie View is a 4A Division School and in the Skyline 5A/4A League.

The next Prairie View Volleyball game will be at home, Friday September 11 2009, against Fruita Monument.

This is a very strong team and will be one to watch this year. There is great talent in each of these players!!!
