Things are a little grim right now.
Being probably the only die-hard
New York Islander fan in the Denver metro area (if there are others, please e-mail at
eiselj@yourhub.com), I figured it'd only be right to let you know the Cinderella
Islanders are down 3-1 in their best of seven series with Buffalo.
After getting crushed in the
first game 4-1 on Friday, the Islanders came back to
defeat Buffalo 3-2 in game 2, as the Islanders take the home ice advantage back to Nassau Coliseum.
However, the home-ice advantage was lost on Monday as Buffalo held on for a
3-2 win.
Then Buffalo took both games on Long Island with another
3-2 win yesterday.
