All and any racquetball participants are invited to the Brighton Rec. Center on Thursday night Racquetball challenge court night from
6-9 ish.
This has been a weekly event for about a year now. We have some familiar faces, some new faces and sometimes some grumpy faces, but usually happy, sweaty faces! (Great excercise!!)
Normally the people who participate are somewhat seasoned players but it won't take you long to get up to speed if you've played before.
We usually have between 4 -10 players per a 6 pm to 9 pm session. We have both courts running during this time frame. As we have more players joining, we just change our format to accommodate more players (sit less, play more)!
We are open to adding another day to the challenge courts or to adding a women's racquetball league in addition to a beginners league or advance league. It's basically up to what the majority of the players want. So far what the majority of players have wanted is the challenge court. We have had
several people want to add a day or evening to the challenge courts, but are undecided yet what day of the week to add.
