Special Olympics team forming in Brighton
Contributed by: Caroline Pisa on 3/28/2008

A new Brighton/Henderson Special Olympics Track team is forming.

Special Olympics Colorado athletes are children and adults, eight years of age or older, with intellectual disabilities, any level of ability.

We are also looking for coaches to assist in different events. If you can keep up with them, our athletes need someone to help teach them about the various track events.

A background check and lots of caring is required.

New athletes/coaches should first contact Special Olympics directly at 303-592-1361, then call Coach Caroline at 303-304-7260.

Practice starts Tuesday April 1st. Practice every Tuesday and Thursday from 5-6 p.m. at Brighton High School track, unless notified otherwise.
