Hello,
I'm Dana TePoel, I'm an ASE certified advanced level technician in both gas and diesel disciplines. After over 30 years in the automotive industry I have identified lack of understanding as one of the biggest communication barriers between consumers and honest vehicle service and repair. It is the intention of this blog to help you understand your vehicle and it's needs and shed some light on the industry as a whole. If you have any vehicle care questions or concerns, please post them on this blog and I will do my best to give you some peace of mind.
I'm new at this, give it a try
I look forward to hearing from you,
Thanks,
Dana TePoel(owner)

Are the higher blends of fuel really all that benefical to performance, especially when it comes to a four cylinder fuel injected car? Will higher grade gas prevent say things like fuel injectors needing to cleaned or not?
