VOTE REPUBLICAN!!
I base my statements below on facts which may be obtained from the internet web sites that follow each comment.
1. Vote Republican if you want the National debt to climb to $10 trillion dollars (Now at about $9.6 trillion). With current interest payments on the debt of over $585 Billion annually cuts spending on senior programs, education, health, vet's care and other important infrastructure projects. The share of the debt is over $33,000 for every man, woman and child in the US. Check www.nationaldebt.
2. Vote Republican if you want the war in Iraq to continue and maybe a new war with Iran. Independent journalists discovered over 953 false statements, (Denver Post 1/24/08) were made by Bush and his administration before and during the course of the Iraq war. Check www.iraqwar.
2. Vote Republican if you want our schools system to continue to fail. The "No Child Left Behind Act" hasn't worked. We now have over 30% high school drop out rates in the US. Check www.ushighschooldropouts.
3. Vote Republican if you want lobbyists for special interests to return. When Republicans controlled Congress in 2000, the number of lobbyists went from 16, 342 to 34,785 and the craft and corruption from Abramoff, Libby, Cunningham and other Republicans arose. Check www.historyoflobbys.
4. Vote Republican if you want gas and oil prices to continue to climb. Oil companies and oil investors make more money when oil is high. And they have more to contribute to the Republican coffers. The war in Iraq has brought the price up and stays there as long as we are there. Have you noticed? Check www.gaspricehistory.
5. Vote Republican if you want 47 million Americans to suffer from no health care. Especially children. They are dying early, filling our emergency wards, bankrupting our hospitals, when preventative care or a small co-pay system would prevent emergency visits. Check www.americanhealthcare.
6. Vote Republican if you want more tax cuts for the rich, corporations and credits for companies who hire illegal immigrants. See www.bushtaxcuts.
