THE REAL TRUTH RESEARCHED.
Today's total US debt is $9.815 Trillion. Look up "US national debt." With our population at about 308 million that makes over $32,000.00 debt for every man, women and child in the US. The main culprits are Bush's tax cuts, the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. The debt also devalues the US dollar. For example it used to be the dollar bought $1.40 in Canadian. Today, the Canadian dollar is stronger than the US dollar. I must repeat, Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11, had no WMD's, nuclear nor Al Qeada when we attacked. Because we have wasted our resources in manpower and treasure in Iraq, the Taliban and Al Qeada in Afghanistan are returning and getting stronger. There is more opium poppies growing in Afghanistan than before we attacked. The republicans want to "stay the course" in Iraq. Do we really want to continue this same republican administration with a guy who claims Bush did the right thing in Iraq?
Regular gas was $1.39 in January 2001 when George Bush became president. Today, gas is about $3.15 nationally. If you look up "history of gas prices" in your computer you will find that the increase really began when we attacked Iraq and since we have angered most middle eastern countries and Venezuela's Hugo Chavez (he provides approx. 11% of our gas), prices have increased gradually. The middle eastern and others refuse to produce more (OPEC) to reduce the price to the US. They also feel that our growing products(corn) to make ethanol is cutting on their supply. The higher price of corn has also raised the price of livestock fed by corn. Higher gas prices means that everything that is transported much go up also. Do we really want to continue this same republican administration with a guy who claims Bush did the right thing in Iraq?
