WOMAN TRIES TO STEAL SWAMP COOLER
Police are searching for a woman driving a white pickup truck who might have tried to steal a swamp cooler from a garage April 21 on the 11800 block of Allison Street. The woman was unsuccessful at taking the swamp cooler, which was left at the scene, but the garage door was damaged when she drove the truck out of the garage. Estimated damage to the garage door was $200.
HOME DAMAGED BY PELLETS
A porch lamp and garage window were damaged by some type of pellets April 21 on the 126000 block of Osceola Street. Estimated damage was $20.
STEREOS STOLEN FROM CARS
Three vehicles were broken into April 21 on Varra Drive. Car stereos were stolen from two of the vehicles, and a stereo was damaged in the third car during the attempted removal. Total estimated loss was $4,525.
COMPUTERS STOLEN FROM BUSINESS
Three notebook computers were stolen from an office on the 1000 block of Eldorado Boulevard on April 22. Estimated loss was $6,000.
LUMBER STOLEN FROM CONSTRUCTION SITE
Lumber was stolen from a construction site on the 16000 block of Quandary Loop. Estimated loss was $500.
THIEF TAKES LAWN MOWER AND DISHES
A lawn mower and dishes were stolen from a garage on the 2800 block of Calkins Place on April 22. Estimated loss was $350.
COPPER STOLEN FROM CONSTRUCTION SITE
Copper piping, a waterflow meter, halogen lights and window siding were stolen April 24 from a construction site on the 3600 block of Parkside Center Drive. Estimated loss was $23,440.
NINE VEHICLES BROKEN INTO
About nine vehicles were broken into in the Ridgeview Heights and Eagle Trace neighborhoods April 25. Stolen items included stereo equipment, a GPS system, a digital camera, identification and credit cards. Estimated loss was $4,345.
SKI EQUIPMENT STOLEN
Ski-locking devices were stolen April 25 from a storage area on the 4300 block of West 120th Avenue. Estimated loss was $20,000.
