Blotter: Man tries to steal beer from neighbors

MAN FOUND WITH WEAPON, STOLEN CAR
A 32-year-old Aurora man was arrested at Princess Circle and Princess Court on May 6 after police found him in possession of a stolen 2000 Chevy Blazer and an illegal weapon. The man was charged with theft by receiving and possession of an illegal weapon.

STEREO COMPONENTS STOLEN FROM CAR
Subwoofers were stolen from a car on the 1000 block of East 10th Avenue on May 8. Estimated loss was $615.

MONEY TAKEN FROM SAFE
Money was stolen May 8 from a safe in a business on the 1000 block of Eldorado Boulevard. Estimated loss was $990.

PART OF COMPUTER STOLEN
The hard drive was stolen May 8 from a computer in an office on the 1000 block of Eldorado Boulevard. Estimated loss was $40.

CASH STOLEN FROM UNLOCKED SAFE
Money was stolen May 10 from an unlocked safe at a business on the 6700 block of West 120th Avenue. Estimated loss was $130.

VEHICLE DAMAGED BY ROCKS
A vehicle on the 5600 block of Stoneybrook Drive was damaged by thrown rocks May 10. Estimated damage was $1,000.

MAN TRIES TO STEAL BEER FROM NEIGHBORS
A 35-year-old Broomfield man was arrested May 11 after breaking into his neighbor's home on the 12300 block of Deerfield Way and trying to steal beer. He damaged a window screen while attempting to flee the home. Estimated damage was $25.
