Officers responded to a criminal trespass call on the 1000 block of East 10 th Avenue. When they arrived, the homeowner said a man had taken his keys, which were in the lock of his home, and tried unsuccessfully to start the homeowner's car with them.

VEHICLE FOUND

On July 14, Broomfield police officers responded to the report of a suspicious vehicle on the 7200 block of West 118 th Place. They recovered a truck that was stolen from Broomfield. Attached to it was a trailer that was stolen from Westminster. The case is still under investigation.

ANGEL STOLEN

Someone took a large cement statue of an angel from the yard of a home on the 4900 block of Yates Circle on July 14. The estimated loss was $75.

SOMEONE DAMAGES CAR BY WALKING ON IT

Police responded to the call of a damaged vehicle on the 200 block of Beryl Way on July 14. When they arrived, they found the car had been damaged by someone walking on the hood and roof of the car. The estimated damage was $500.

BUT IS THE ROAD STILL CLOSED?

Someone took four "Road Closed" signs from the 13200 block of Sheridan Boulevard on July 14. The estimated loss for the city was $120.

CAR SCRATCHED

A car on the 3300 block of Boulder Circle was damaged July 15 when someone used keys to scratch its paint. The estimated damage was $500.

THIS IS NOT AN EXIT

Five exit signs at a business on the 11400 block of Broomfield Lane were damaged July 15 by unknown persons. The estimated damaged was $1,250.

COVERS STOLEN

Three black iron window well covers were stolen from a home on the 4900 block of Silver Feather Circle on July 16. The estimated loss was $450.

COMPUTER, GPS STOLEN FROM CAR

A vehicle on the 2400 block of Industrial Lane was broken into July 17 and a laptop computer, a GPS unit and a camera were stolen from inside. The estimated loss was $1,900.

ROCK THROWN THROUGH WINDOW

Someone threw a rock through the window of a car sitting on the 7000 block of West 120 th Avenue on July 18. The estimated damage was $300.

TOOLS TAKEN FROM HOUSE

A home under construction on the 15100 block of Prairie Place was broken into July 19. Various tools were stolen from inside. The estimated loss was $2,700.

CAR BROKEN INTO

Someone broke out a window of a car sitting on the 900 block of East Ninth Avenue on July 20. The estimated damage was $100.

FACEPLATE STOLEN

Someone broke into a car on the 14000 block of Fairwind Lane on July 20. A stereo faceplate was taken from inside. The estimated loss was $300.
