Blotter: Man threatens with wooden knife

MAN THREATENS WITH WOODEN KNIFE

A 34-year-old Broomfield man was arrested July28 on the 100 block of Willow Place South after he reportedly threatened a man with a wooden knife and hit the same man with a tree branch. He was held at the Broomfield County Jail.

BIKE STOLEN

A mountain bike was stolen from a home on the 200 block of Lamar Street on July 28. The estimated loss was $400.

MAN HITS ANOTHER WITH GLASS MUG

A 25-year-old Broomfield man was arrested July 28 on the 7400 block of West 120 th Avenue after he allegedly hit a man in the head with a glass mug. He was held at the Broomfield County Jail.

JEWELRY STOLEN FROM HOME

A home on the 1300 block of Holly Drive East was broken into Aug. 1. Various pieces of jewelry were stolen from inside the house. The estimated loss was $2,400.

SAWS, DRILLS TAKEN FROM TRAILER

A landscaping trailer on the 2600 block of High Prairie Way was broken into Aug. 1. Two circular saws, two drills and a power washer were stolen from inside. The estimated loss was $1,060.

BACKFLOW COVER STOLEN

A blackflow cover was taken from a public walkway near the intersection of Zuni Street and McKay Landing Parkway on Aug. 1. The estimated loss to the city was $1,000.

LAFAYETTE WOMAN ARRESTED FOR DRUGS

A 40-year-old Lafayette woman was arrested Aug. 2 near the intersection of Colorado 121 and U.S. 36 after she was stopped for a traffic violation and upon a search, allegedly possessing various controlled substances. She was held at the Broomfield County Jail.
