Wells Fargo robbed, suspect at large


On Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at about 9:05 a.m., officers from the Broomfield Police Department responded to a robbery call at Wells Fargo Bank located at 598 Summit Boulevard. Initial information indicated that a male party had come into the business with a note and demanded money from a clerk. No weapon was seen and no one was injured. The male obtained an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene on foot. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, 20 to 25 years old, 5'07, 180lbs, black mustache, wearing a green stocking cap, blue sweatshirt, and blue jeans. The case remains under investigation. No further information is being released at this time.
