Legacy High School hires new hoops coaches

Legacy High School, of Broomfield , Co. has made their final decision on the new basketball coaches for the 2008-2009 basketball season.

The Class 5A Legacy basketball programs were able to find two great new head coaches for the boys and girls basketball teams. Jamie Carey will become head coach of the Legacy Lightning Girls Basketball program, while Darren Clemenhagen will become head coach of the Legacy Lightning Boys Basketball Program.

Jamie Carey, a past graduate of Horizon H.S., where she was a top 10 all -time player for the Horizon Hawks, before going on to Stanford and Texas. Jamie presently plays for the Connecticut Sun of the WNBA. With Jamie past experiences and knowledge, the Legacy Lightning are a team to watch on the horizon.

Darren Clemenhagen, a well known teacher and coach at Legacy H.S., who has coached both boy's basketball and football for the past few years.
