Youth rugby tournament charges through Broomfield
Contributed by: Simon Moya-Smith/YourHub staff on 11/3/2008

74 degree weather welcomed the 2008 Colorado Youth Rugby Girls Championship and consolation matches held at Mike G. Gabriel football stadium at Holy Family High School, 5195 W. 144th Ave., Broomfield, on Nov. 1.

Innumerable family and friends crowded both the east and west bleachers as rugby teams from as far as New Mexico took the field with the hope of achieving the crowning title of state champions.

In the end, it was the Summit County High School girls rugby team who stood victorious.

Great pictures of the Los Alamos, New Mexico vs. Douglas County HS match. Thansk for the coverage. It was a perfect day for all to see.
