NORTH METRO FIRE RESCUE RELEASES FIRST FIREFIGHTER CALENDAR

North Metro Fire Rescue District has released their first annual fire fighter calendar featuring fire department personnel and the community in action! Proceeds from the 2010 North Metro Fire Rescue calendar will benefit the programs supported through the North Metro Fire Rescue District Community Foundation.
"The photos selected for this project show the range of services and programs we encounter throughout a year," said Wendy Forbes, Public Information Officer for North Metro Fire Rescue. "And, the money we raise will go right back to our community through the programs we support with our department's non-profit."
Community members wanting to purchase a calendar have two options available:
  • Log on to www.northmetrofire.org and hit the calendar link on the home page
  • Or to avoid shipping charges, visit one of two locations for an in-person sale during regular office hours (Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.)
    • Headquarters- 10550 Huron Street, Northglenn, CO 80234
    • North Metro Fire Station 64 - 13515 Lowell Blvd, Broomfield, CO 80020
Calendars will be available until supplies run out. The North Metro Fire Rescue Community Foundation benefits programs supported by the Fire District including the Child Passenger Safety Seat Program, the Smoke Alarm Program for elderly and financially disadvantaged citizens, the Endangered Children's Decontamination Trailer, and the 9/11 Memorial located in Broomfield.
Citizens who have questions about the 2010 North Metro Fire Rescue calendar may call Wendy Forbes at North Metro Fire Rescue Headquarters at (303) 452-9910.
North Metro Fire Rescue thanks you for contributing and aiding these important programs throughout the upcoming year.
