BROOMFIELD BLOGGERS AT WORK
Now with Barak Obama as our President elect, the Republican bloggers are creating scenarios on what Obama will do, what he won't do and what he can't do. They claim he will immediately pull out of Iraq and it will cause chaos. "The Iranians will come in and slaughter all the pro-American citizens." "The Islamic militants will take over." These are typical, regenerative republican scare tactics again. That worked with Bush against Gore and Kerry. Look what it has wrought us today. A multi-trillion cost to taxpayers, over 4,089 dead Americans, over 35,000 seriously wounded and over 200,000 dead Iraqis, hatred towards the US from the middle east, Europe and South America and we still don't have a real democracy in Iraq. Not to mention the cost of oil, gas and groceries.
The biggest problem the war in Iraq has wrought is the price of oil and gas. The cut in world supplies because of Iraq. The angering of the OPEC countries towards the US and cutting oil supplies off from "most favored nation" to "most hated nation." In addition, the Bush/Cheney club has angered Hugo Chavez and he has cut the flow of oil from Venezuela from 15% to 11% of US oil. Further cutting supplies, bringing prices up and burgeoning the excessive speculative investors to bid prices to unreasonable levels. But people please, most Republicans love this, most are invested in oil properties, like John Atkinson, my letter writing nemesis. They are pleased prices on oil and gas are up, they make lots of money. To h _ _ with the American public.
Barak Obama, with his color and his name is the most likely to create dialogue with our warring Middle Eastern nations. Creating dialogue does not mean giving up anything. The Semitic lobbies in Washington would have us make war and conquer every country in the middle east. We must stop them from antagonizing us and forbid giving them aid, guns and warships to do so themselves. They need enough to protect themselves but not to aggressively take over Palestinian lands.
"McBush" would have us continue more of the same in Iraq, go into Iran. Further creating animosity and hatred towards the US and creating a larger terrorist threat to the US. Gas and oil prices would further escalate and make the oil investing republicans very happy.
