"Divots of Hazzard" Theme with Omni's Golf Club Mascot
On Sunday, October 26, 2008
Divot, the Omni Interlocken Golf Club mascot (a Bernese Mountain dog), will once again host the third annual Howl-oween party for metro area dogs and their owners on the Fairways terrace at the Omni Golf Course on Sunday, October 26, 2008 from 2 until 4 p.m. The party's theme, "Divots of Hazzard," is the result of his Dukes of Hazzard costume this year - and all party hounds are invited to compete for prizes with their own creative dog costumes. Entry fees will be donated to the
Humane Society of Boulder Valley, which will also have eligible dogs and cats available for adoption at the event.
Treats will be served to guests of the two-legged and four-legged variety, including complimentary wine, cheese, candy for kids, and organic doggie treats, courtesy of
Boulder Dog Food Company. The pooch with the best costume will win an original Omni Interlocken Resort dog bed, created by local Colorado artist Lisa Mattingly, who supplies these beds to the Resort for its dog guests.
Cost to attend is $25 per couple (with dog) and $15 per individual (with dog). Children under 12 are free, and can enjoy treats from the Omni Interlocken Resort and the Chick-Fil-A at Flatirons.
