The numerous school districts in Broomfield County need to take notice!
The need for improvements in Broomfield school systems is way past due and it may be time for everyone to take time to become part of the solution and not part of the problem.
The rising costs of education are across the board and we all need to think outside the box by following simple rules; by getting involved!
Get involved by carpooling, walking your neighbor's children to the corner or a little further, to the front door of the school, (you could even learn to be a crossing guard). Get to know your neighbors, take the time to work together and see just how simple it can be when everyone starts working together; your efforts can make that big difference.
Remember our own City Council wants Broomfield to protect its environment and become a leader as a healthy community. So, take the time and stop wishing and get involved, only one pebble can cause a ripple in the water that can carry forth a change--be that ripple!
During the past few weeks, I have worked extremely hard at getting Broomfield the best Farmer's Market for the community. All funds raised at the market are for student programs at Legacy High School. If you ever feel you need to help push a program forward, please, please tell me!
I sure can use your help and advice in providing the best to everyone that wants to be part of a program that benefits all. The Legacy All Booster Farmer's Market is held every Saturday at Legacy High School west parking lot, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (or sell out). Remember, if you have any problems or questions concerning the market, I promise to make it right for you.
Personally, thanks for those of you who have stepped up and especially
Bill
and
Jeanne Markel
, without their help this past weekend, the market would of never went as smoothly as it did. The true meaning of community support is said in three words: Bill & Jeanne Markel! Thanks again for making a difference and being that ripple!
