We were always told that politicians use the old cliche, "you can fool all of the people part of the time and part of the people all of the time." With George Bush's approval rating about 34% he is still fooling part of the people most of the time.
They still don't believe there were no Al Qaeda, Osama Bin Laden cohorts or 9/11 related terrorists in Iraq when we attacked Iraq. I'm sure Karl Rove, his propaganda minister insists that he refer to the war in Iraq as "the war on terror." That way, his loyal ignorant Republican constituency remains confused and assured we're doing the right thing by being in Iraq.
The Bush administration can take credit to increasing the death benefit to soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan to $200,000.00 from $10,000.00. That way, the Bush administration won't have the protests from the deceased soldiers relatives for this lied-to war, like Cindy Sheehan.
The soldiers relatives would rather believe their beloved ones died "protecting America," as Bush has told them. Our soldiers did die bravely and honorably believing they were doing the right thing. They were simply Misled by their commander in chief as was the rest of America. If all of the deceased soldiers relatives knew the truth, they would all join Cindy Sheehan.
Now our financial resources are exhausted ($8.3 Trillion debt), our manpower is waning and we have two real serious threats (Iran & North Korea) developing because of the ineptness of President Bush.

In response to the above comment, yes Democrats have not offered many solutions to the problems America faces but I definately think its a step in the right direction when over 76% of the American public believes that what Bush is doing isn't the solution. So no it's not a solution, but it's a start to say, "hey this isn't working, lets get together and try to find something that does" And I don't see you recommending anything else positvely to do either. So don't act like you are any better than the people who are demanding change from this government. You have a solution? Your congressman is waiting to hear from you.

This is one of several items I have read over the years by Mr. Muniz. When people read this kind of trash they need to realize that it is written by Bush haters. Bush haters have two things in common. 1)They are always negative and often distort the facts. 2) They never have any suggested solutions for real or perceived problems. Good people like good politicians who put forth agendas that are positive. They hope these politicians can enact programs that are beneficial to our country and all of its citizens. The only agenda that Bush haters have is hating President George W. Bush. Worse yet they are destroying the Democratic Party.
