Blizzard of 2006
Contributed by: Julie Robinson on 12/21/2006

We have about 30 inches of snow in The Meadows subdivision of Castle Rock, Colorado, and over 4 foot drifts.

This information is according to my husband, Mike Robinson, who has been out to clear the driveway and an area in the backyard for a "dog run".

The kids went out last night with cups to eat only the white snow and had more than a little fun putting it down the back of my shirt. Children must have a genetic predisposition to do this.

My mother always told me that if I didn't react like I did that my brothers wouldn't have as much fun doing these mean kind of tricks. How do you not react to an otherwise toasty back being assaulted by a snowball?
