My favorite place in town to hang out: Denver Performing Arts Complex

What I like most about living here: The positive outlook and energy of the people.

My interests and hobbies: dog shows

What is my favorite thing to cook: Moroccan tangine

People who inspired me (and how): My dad who thought that everyone had an obligation to try to make the world at least a little bit better than they found it.

How I have contributed to the community: Volunteer English as a second language instructor, volunteer GED instructor, volunteer Gov. Romer's task force on foreclosure

What are the biggest issues facing Arapahoe County now: From the standpoint of the county clerk's office it is the danger of losing the integrity of the election office to privatization by electronic voting machine companies.
