Business in the Pines approves name change

Business in the Pines, a business association for the City of Castle Pines North, today announced its new name, Castle Pines Chamber of Commerce.

Founded in January 2007, Business in the Pines was established to promote an
environment of communication, cooperation and support for local businesses in Castle Pines North. More than 100 members strong, the organization is striving to broaden its business base and further support economic development in the area by officially becoming a Chamber of Commerce.

"This step will further our exposure to surrounding businesses and commerce," said Don Bobeda, chairman of the board of Castle Pines Chamber of Commerce.

According to Bobeda, this is essentially a name change, with the goals and vision of the Chamber remaining the same as it was envisioned a year and a half ago.
