Bobcat visits cul-de-sac in Forest Park
Contributed by: Deborah Lynch on 12/6/2007

A bobcat was spotted in a Forest Park cul-de-sac on November 30 around noontime. Bobcat sightings are unique but as residents of Castle Pines North (CPN) know, wildlife is abundant in the area.

This bobcat is bigger than average, as confirmed by the Colorado Division of Wildlife. Bobcats' favorite meals are rabbits, which are plentiful in CPN, and may explain how this particular bobcat became so large.

For more information about bobcats, visit the Department of Wildlife's Web site at http://wildlife.state.co.us/WildlifeSpecies/Profiles/Mammals/Bobcat.htm
