Chaparral youth wrestling registration opens
Contributed by: Vickie Elgin on 9/29/2008

Calling all grapplers and potential grapplers ages 4-14! Chaparral Youth Wrestling will begin registration for their youth wrestling program on Monday, October 20th at 5:30 p.m. at Chaparral High School in Parker. A parent information meeting will be conducted on Monday, October 27 at 6:00 p.m. outside the Chaparral High School wrestling room. The wrestling club practices several times a week at Chaparral High School. Experienced wrestlers practice on Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday evenings. Novice or beginners wrestle on Tuesday evenings. Wrestlers can attend as many practices as they choose. This program is a good fit for middle school wrestlers preparing for their middle school season, as well as elementary aged children. Tournaments usually run on Sundays throughout the Denver metro area. The program is based on the foundation of building respect, discipline, strength, and flexibility in a fun and safe environment. He will outgrow the uniform...but not the lessons! Registration is open throughout the season. For more information go to www.chaparralyouthwrestling.com.
