Sitting on the driveway the other nightwatching neighborhood life happen, I notice a group of four, 10 - 13 year old boys play with water guns in a water fight.

They got more and more aggressive as the game played on. So much to the point the youngest was getting picked on so much that he in retribution of a constant soaking, turned about face with his aggressor and started chasing him, only he did not stop there. He got within arm's reach and instead of pulling the trigger and dousing the kid; he wound up and smacked him on the head with a high capacity, tubular plunger type big squirt tube sending the recipient screaming to my neighbors' house looking for sympathy.

The kid's friend, who happens to be my neighbor's kid about 13 years old, got into a belittling shouting head with the younger attacker who was at his side yard refilling his squirt tube. The younger boy being "out mouthed" resorted to let the F'ing F word fly that sent the big kids into a rage. They stopped on our side of the street and made a plan for the younger verbal kid to renounce his actions three times. Each time the verbal assaulter refused to apologize and this sent the older boys across the street where they marched into the verbal kid's house uninvited to snitch on him, in they went.

This is going to be good I thought, as his mom called her verbal kid inside, no one entered or left the house for ten minutes; all of a sudden, the older boys reappeared and huddled at the center of the street to toss verbal insults at the boys open window.

The younger boys' sister came out and told the two boys, "he's not even in there; he's in the family room where mom is making him come and apologize". Good, the older boys said as darkness set in. They waited for the apology that never came, got bored and went inside their house.
