Healthy Eating
Blog Entry 19 of 22
Changing My Thinking
I know how to eat healthy, but often make unhealthy choices. And, exercise... what's that? I sporatically exercise and make attempts at eating healthy. That's better than nothing, right? It's a beginning.

I was scraping off some goo from the garage floor; something had spilled and dried there. While I was scraping hard, my little 4-year-old
Karen
kept saying, "You can do it, You can do it." She really motivated me and gave me a little joy in the moment. Then, I sprayed the garage floorwith the garden hose with Karen dancing around trying to get wet.
She kept coming to me and egging me on to squirt her, with her "nannie nannie boo boos" so I ended up drenching her through and through. She laughed so hard. Her big contagious belly laugh really made the job fun. Little kids are so wise sometimes and we adults can learn from their pure outlook on life if we take the time. It's so easy to push little ones out of the way to complete a task instead of enjoying time spent with them.
Which reminds me, I just saw the movie
Click
. It has a great "enjoy life" message (if you can get past the potty humor). It's not for small children.
