Blog Entry 11 of 22 Changing My Thinking
I know how to eat healthy, but often make unhealthy choices. And, exercise... what's that? I sporatically exercise and make attempts at eating healthy. That's better than nothing, right? It's a beginning.

Satisfying Gratifying Cinnamon
Contributed by: Julie Robinson   on 4/13/2006

I believe that satisfaction comes from enjoying to the fullest what is before you and making the most of every situation. In eating it is enjoying the aroma, texture, complexity, and flavor of the food. I really like to sprinkle on the cinnamon on my bowl of morning oatmeal and enjoy the aroma. While enjoying my cinnamon raisin oatmeal this morning, I felt satisfied. A little www.wikipedia.org about satisfaction: The first definition available was for Gratification.

Gratification is the positive emotional response (happiness) to a fulfilment of desire.

I am satisfied when I enjoy priceless God-given things like cinnamon on oatmeal, sunny days, a warm hug, and a spouse who was off-track and readily put back on track by a gentle nudge from me. (See yesterday's blog.)

I just have to throw more out to you on cinnamon: cinnamon has been shown to lower blood sugar as well as bad cholesterol. Visit www.ediets.comfor an article about these health benefits. Maybe an addition I would make from regular consumption would be: Cinnamon makes you happy. That counts for a world of cure.
