Blog Entry 15 of 22 Changing My Thinking
I know how to eat healthy, but often make unhealthy choices. And, exercise... what's that? I sporatically exercise and make attempts at eating healthy. That's better than nothing, right? It's a beginning.

What is better? Websters defines the word as: a comparison of good; of a more excellent or desirable kind; ... more excellent or preferred thing. (On the side, did you know that the definition for bettor is "one who bets") I thought that was a gambler.

To wait for something better is not a gamble. It is a practice of patience.

Eating at chain restaurants is safe because you know what you're going to get... there is no risk involved. But it's really like eating copies of the real thing. It's not that I don't like copies, but many copies of food must be frozen, or laden with preservatives.Copies are not as fresh and as delicious as they can be. They are not more excellent or more desirable. And many "copy" restaurants are just as expensive as the real thing.

My husband and I through our new venture of www.signaturedishesofcolorado.com have been sampling non-chain restaurants in the Castle Rock area and have just begun to sample Highlands Ranch. We filmed Castle Rock's Mt. Fuji Chef Billy Li make his"New Style Sushi" -Golden Mango Sushi. Stop and eat the sushi. Or, at least, go view Chef Li make it.
