Denver metro blotter roundup May 29
Contributed by: YourHub.com   on 5/29/2008

Blotter item of the week for May 29:

JUVENILE DAMAGES TREE An officer was dispatched to Fitzmorris Park in Arvada in reference to a juvenile problem at 5:35 p.m. May 3. The reporting party said five juveniles were ripping bark off a tree and yelling obscene language at people walking in the park. Through interviews with the juveniles, the officer learned one of the boys was ripping large pieces of bark at the tree and throwing it at the other boys. He also exchanged obscenities with a boy who passed by and accused the suspect of stealing his bike. There is no citation written at this time. The police department is waiting to find out the extent of damage done to the tree.
