What:	The Second Fifty Women's Club in The Meadows has been created by and for women who view their second fifty as the best years of their lives.The club's objectives are to help broaden your circle of friends, expand knowledge of the world around you, and above all, be fun. Women over 50 years of age who are curious about their community, town, state, or universe and are interested in meeting other women like themselves, are invited to attend The Second Fifty's meetings, which are held the third Thursday of each month from 1-3 p.m. at The Grange (unless otherwise noted). There are no dues, no officers, and no committees to join. Plan on sharing in the laughter, paying your own way to events, and occasionally bringing a dessert to share or helping with meeting set up. The meetings of The Second Fifty provide opportunities for meaningful discussion, and feature prominent guest speakers, yummy desserts, and on occasion, lunch at one of the area's fine restaurants. Ages 50+ 3rd Thursday of every month 1-3 p.m. May 15 - 1 - 3 p.m. - Don't miss this most "crafty" event! We ooh'ed and aah'ed at the hand-made greeting cards several of our Second Fifty members displayed at our "Show and Tell" meeting last October. Susan Vogel is coordinating this hands-on session where four of our members will show us how to make them ourselves. We will learn and apply the techniques to construct four different styles of craft greetings, and take home the four items we make. Susan will make sure all the necessary materials are available. Each attendee is asked to provide a $5 donation to cover the cost of these supplies.
