People who inspired you (and how): My parents are a great inspiration to me, because they taught me to think independently and love my country, and they instilled a great work ethic in me.
How you have contributed to the community: I have been involved in numerous community projects, including serving on the board of directors at the Sky Cliff Stroke Center in Castle Rock. Sky Cliff provides services and support to stroke "victors" in Douglas County.
What are the biggest issues facing your constituency now: One of the biggest challenges our state and country faces right now is getting our economy back on track. Government's first priority should be getting its own financial house in order by cutting spending and looking for ways to operate more efficiently. As a state senator, I will also work to eliminate the Business Personal Property Tax and otherwise create an environment that will enable businesses to succeed and create more jobs for Colorado families
