How is it possible for a building contractor to begin clearing land in Perry Park for condo's when there is only one access road into and out of the Park? So many of the residents of Perry Park were horrified when we learned that condo's were going up in the very private, serene and scenic area of Echo Valley Rd.! There are residents here who have lived in their townhomes for 23 years, and now a builder has come in and started stripping all the rocks, trees, scrub oak, etc., to within 10 feet of their properties.
I thought that nothing could be done, as far as building, until a second access road was approved and available for use. What happened? I was also informed, before purchasing a townhome, that all single-family residents in Perry Park had to be built on at least a one-acre lot. Now we are hearing that another builder is planning on putting 31 single-family residents on 13 acres where the old tennis courts were located. What is going to happen if we have another, God forbid, Hayman fire? With over 600+ families living in the Perry Park Ranch area, the very thought is terrifying!
