It's time again for the Front Range Showcase Friday, April 13 from 2 to 7 p.m. and Saturday, April 14 from 9 .a.m to 5 p.m. at the Douglas County Events Center.

The Front Range Showcase provides consumers with the convenience of "one-stop shopping" at over 120 businesses that offer their products and services for home remodeling and decorating; yard beautification; recreation; health and fitness; automotive and financial needs, just to name a few. Government and nonprofit organizations are also on hand with helpful information and demonstrations.

With the added bonus that admission is free to the public, the Showcase will provide a fun way for the whole family to spend the day with continuous activities for the kids, demonstrations, free food samples, main stage entertainment, and food and beverage booths.

See Jax the police dog from the Castle Rock K-9 unit capture a "bad guy," meet the Stars of Tomorrow as they perform their winning talents. There will be special activities and crafts for the kids, who will also be entertained by strolling mascots and magicians, or they can "let off steam" in a giant inflatable bounce and jump Hummer.

For the grown-ups, this is your chance to win lots of great stuff with over $10,000 in prize drawings offered by participating vendors. In addition, one lucky visitor will win the Grand Prize package consisting of "monstrous" prizes from area retailers

But that's not all. Friday evening, April 13, a Showcase After Hours hosted by Flying Horse Catering and the Douglas County Events Center, provides socializing and networking free to Castle Rock Chamber members and a $10 bar charge to the public. Rockyard American Grill and Brewing Company is the beer sponsor, with wine, soda and a variety of complimentary foods from Showcase restaurant vendors provided from 5 to 7 p.m. Make an evening of eating, drinking and strolling through the vendor displays and demos with the chance to win great prizes!
