Located midway between Denver and Colorado Springs,
Castle Rock encompasses 33 square miles and sits in the East Plum Creek Valley at the base of the Rocky Mountains at an elevation of 6,202 feet. Castle Rock's popularity continues to soar due to its largeinventory of quality homes, good schools, and scenic semi-rural setting.The population of Castle Rock is expected to nearly double in the next five years.
Castle Rock is made up of many different areas as you will find in your search: The north end, the south end, the East side and the "Old downtown," or central part of Castle Rock.
The North end of Castle Rock consists of the newer homes and newer retail stores and restaurants. On the West side of the North end is Castle Rock's most popular subdivision called
The Meadows.The Meadows consists of homes built from the 1990s, and is only half way complete, so there are a lot of new homes (new construction) available as well. The homes in the Meadows range in price from $230,000-$700,000. Many people prefer the north end of Castle Rock because of its
proximity to Denver and the Denver Tech Center (DTC).
On the East side of Castle Rock there are several other newer subdivisions. In
Castlewood Ranch, the homes are on a minimum of 1/4 acre lots and range in price from $200,000-$1,000,000.
Founders is also on the East side of Castle Rock, where buyers can usually find the most square footage for the price.
Central Castle Rock, or the "

Castle Pines and is famous for hosting the International Golf tournament.
If you are looking for some acreage, or horse property, that can also be found in Castle Rock. There are many areas such as
Surrey Ridge and
Happy Canyon where buyers can find homes on a few acres. These homes are built from the 1970s-today and usually start around $400,000.
Town homes and condos are also available in Castle Rock and can be found for as low as $90,000.
