"The Science of the Paranormal"
Contributed by: Aspen Walker on 10/11/2007

Lynne Kelly, Australian educator and author of The Skeptics Guide to the Paranormal, will share her scientific approach to UFO sightings, water diving, spontaneous human combustion, psychic readings, Bigfoot, Australia's "Yowie," and more at the Philip S. Miller Library (100 South Wilcox in Castle Rock) at 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 5.

The event is free, but registration is required. Visit DouglasCountyLibraries.org, or call 303-791-READ to book your spot. "The real world is awesome," says Kelly. "Who needs the paranormal when we have so much still to learn about the normal? How do we know what is real and what is not? By being scientifically literate."
