Bonfils Blood Drives @ Your Library™
Contributed by: Jennifer Pavlik on 4/3/2008

Douglas County Libraries and Bonfils Blood Center offer blood drives in Castle Rock and Parker throughout the year. Please call Bonfils Blood Center at 303-363-2300 to register in advance:

-Parker Library, 10851 South Crossroads Drive, 303-791-READ
Sunday, April 27 from 12:30 to 5 p.m.
-Philip S. Miller Library, 100 South Wilcox Street, Castle Rock
Saturday, April 26 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Bonfils needs 4,200 blood donations weekly to meet the needs of the community, and to be prepared for unexpected events. Bonfils Blood Center supplies blood to more than 115 hospitals and healthcare facilities. Blood donation is one of the easiest ways to help your community, with each whole blood donation lasting less than an hour, and having the potential to help several people.
A permanent Bonfils Blood Center is also located in Highlands Ranch. For information about the process of giving blood, go online to bonfils.org. Douglas County Libraries is online at DouglasCountyLibraries.org.
