Contributed by: Pam DeBord on 6/22/2007

Hang on to your life preserver! The VBS crew at First United Methodist Church in Castle Rock is preparing for a VBS water park themed adventure. They are getting ready to Take the Plunge and Make a Splash with Jesus! As kids move from one whirlwind activity to the next, they will be soaking up lessons that will last for a lifetime.

Kids will Take the Plunge at Raise the Reef Praises, the Snack Shack, Craft-Away Cove, Oceans of Motion, and Bibleland Bay. It will be a week of fun and excitement sure to make a splash with kids from age 3 to sixth grade. The twisting and turning will begin each day at 5:30 PM and end at 7:30 PM, July 16 - July 20 at First United Methodist Church in Castle Rock.

To kick off our fabulous Vacation Bible School week, we invite the whole family to a pool party at Burgess Pool, Gilbert and South Streets, on Sunday, July 15, from 6 - 7:30 PM. The cost is $10 per family if registered by July 1st, $15 per family if registered after July 1st. This is a family event, and parents must be present.

To dive into the excitement, sign up today at the church, 1200 South Street, Castle Rock, or call Becky Murray at (303)688-3047 for more information.
