This material life is actually a dream. It is a not real, it is temporary and full of misery. When one is sleeping they are experiencing so many things based on the minds experience, but it is not real.

"Not real", means we are experiencing it, but it will end and it is a type of illusion. Our waking dream is the same thing. We are concocting so many situations based on our flickering mind and illusion.

The material energy is called Maya,also known as Mother Nature and illusion. She is the superintendent of this material creation. It is her duty to keep the souls under her spell of illusion, so they can enact their desires separate from God.

Being they want to lord it over material nature, God gives them free will to do so, so they must have their true nature hidden from themselves, so they can act out their material desires.

There is a verse in the Vedas that says- "Wake up sleeping souls, you are sleeping in the lap of the witch called Maya." God's material energy Maya is the greatest illusionist.

Maya puts veils of illusion over our consciousness, so we can think we are this body and of this particular situation. For example; one may be in a white male, body, born in Colorado, USA, and of a certain faith, with a wife and two children, working as a CPA, etc. He totally accepts this identity due to Mayas spell.

Those who are intelligent question their position realize they are not truly happy. That means they are becoming more conscious and wanting to realize the Truth of the matter. The Truth is, we are not this body, or anything to do with it, IE; race, color, nationality, religion, job, mind, intellect etc. We are eternal spirit souls, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul, also known as- Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. We never die, only the body dies. Presently, we are covered by these veils of Gods material energy, Maya. She has put a spell on our mind so we can not see things as they truly are. It is like in a sleeping state or a dream that will end when we come to our full consciousness. Full Consciousness means God Consciousness or Krishna Consciousness. When one realizes that they are not this body, but they are eternal Loving servants of God and everything is to be used in His service, with love and devotion, then they are considered to be actually awake and seeing things as they truly are. They are self realized souls and on the spiritual platform, beyond mundane consciousness. Everyone else is actually in a waking dream.

Wake up sleeping souls! Stop wasting your life away, suffering in a deep sleep of this material illusion.

Bhakti Yoga is the process to reawaken our pure consciousness, which begins with the process of chanting the names of God. It is universal and nonsectarian and anyone can chant the names of God no matter what their religion.

Though God has innumerable names, the most recommended names are the Hare Krishna Maha Mantra (The great Mantra for deliverance from all suffering and illusion.)

This will bring one the quickest results and will make ones life sublime. This process will make ones life a reality and one will become truly happy and fully awake.

The process to wake up a sleeping person is to make a loud sound. The process to wake up a sleeping soul is to make a spiritual sound, and Gods transcendental names are the highest sound vibration, which will bring the sleeping soul out of their sleep of ignorance. Hare Krishna - WAKE UP!
