IHOP-CR, think prayer, not pancakes!
Contributed by: Jill Herr on 11/15/2007

The International House of Prayer-Castle Rock is a place where people of all denominations are welcome to gather to worship and pray to the God we all serve and love. It is also a place to receive inner or physical healing ministry.

The model of worship and prayer used is called Harp and Bowl. "Harp" represents music and "Bowl", the prayers of the saints as in Revelations 5. Each worship team consists of vocalists and instrumentalists with a prayer leader on board also.

Houses of Prayer are springing up all over the earth and are a rebuilding of the Tabernacle of David where prayer and worship arose to God night and day. IHOP-CR will grow into a 24/7 ministry to the Lord in the future but presently it meets on the first, second, and third Fridays of each month 7-10 p.m. at The Rock church, 4881 Cherokee Dr. in The Meadows of Castle Rock.

The vision of the ministry is be in its own facility in Castle Rock, a place where all denominations of the area can be united with one heart and one voice while still attending their own churches. Yet even today people of all churches are welcome, five different churches are currently represented by members of the worship teams at IHOP-CR.

If you are a praying person, a vocalist, or instrumentalist, you may find that you were created for this kind of burning-heart worship. IHOP-CR invites you to come and find out.
