What do you do on Labor Day weekend when the weather breaks and the sun comes out? You play softball!
Residents of the best cul de sac in Castle Pines North got together for the first annual cul de sac softball championship. Players and cheerleaders of all ages joined in the fun.
The east side of the street challenged the west side. The west side prevailed, winning the game 14to 12 and taking home the coveted (homemade but oh-so-cool) gold styrofoam trophy until next year.
The celebration continued post-game in the cul de sac with pizza, refreshments, sore muscles and many more laughs.
The group is open to any and all cul de sac competitors. You can e-mail
jshulsizer@comcast.net if you'd like to get in on the fun next year.
