Larkspur Elementary School PTO's 11 th Annual Fall Festival
That's right; it's that time of year again when the Larkspur Elementary SchoolPTO transforms the Renaissance Fair Grounds in Larkspur into the Boo, Shake & Rattle Fall Festival. This family oriented fundraiser is a lot of fun and draws "Halloween Costumed" kids of all ages from all over Douglas and El Paso Counties.
The Festival will feature games, activities, rides, crafts, food, and chili cook off, bake sales and more, created and manned by our own elementary school students.
The money raised from this event goes directly to our school to help our children. Last year we raised enough money to fund the Read to Succeed Program; Spell it Write, Every Child a Writer, we purchased new library books, classroom resources; we are able to fund an enrichment program which offers our students the opportunity to learn about diverse topics that round out their education, and much, much more.
This year's event will take place on Oct. 14 th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Renaissance Fairgrounds on Perry Park Avenue in Larkspur; with all of your favorite games, booths and prizes like the "Famous Haunted House", Guess the Goo, Cake Walk, Ghost Whip, Gold Fish Toss (no we are not throwing fish), Putt Putt Golf, Trick or Treat Street, Face & Hair Painting, Costume Contest and so much more...
The "Food Court" will offer hot dogs, bratwurst, pizza, sub sandwiches, nachos, pretzels, chili, chips, and drinks. There will also be a huge bake sale with the most delicious treats.
The cost to enter the Festival is $5 for a family (up to 4 people) and $1 per extra person. All the booths, games, and food require tickets to participate. Tickets will be on sale at the door at 4 tickets for $1.
A very special thank you to Jim Paradise and the Renaissance Festival Family for their continued generosity and support of our school and students. You're the BEST!
We hope you will join us for our 11 th Annual Fall Festival!
