Fundraiser for wounded Marine
Contributed by: shannon wilson on 8/8/2007

Sassafrass is holding their 4 th Annual Sidewalk Sale on August 18, 2007. On this date we are also hosting a Silent Auction and Fundraiser for Wounded Warrior Corporal Caleb Wood, USMC. Corporal Wood, 22, was wounded when a grenade exploded in his right hand while serving in Iraq. He is suffering from burns and the loss of several fingers. Caleb and his wife Lindsay, 20, were recently married on 11/25/06. Caleb's plan was to become an auto mechanic when his tour of duty is up in August 2008. Lindsay is studying nursing full time. Due to his injury, their plans have drastically changed and they need our love and support. The Sassafrass family is committed to doing everything they can to rally round and support them.

You can provide your support for Caleb and Lindsay by attending the Sidewalk Sale, donating goods or services for the Silent Auction or a financial contribution.

Please mail any financial donations to:
