If you like to be scared...this is the place to come for a Halloween
fright experience!
The PAC's 'Stable of Terror', (a unique version of a haunting theme),
continues to be attended and enjoyed by record-breaking crowds. In
fact, it has become the main attraction at the Halloween with Horses
event. Now in its' 8th year, the 'Stable of Terror' continues to
expand and this year will offer a greater variety in scenes and
special effects with a new theme in fear.
The PAC is extremely proud that the 'Stable of Terror' has increased
in both size and volunteer participation. The PAC donates
approximately 500 hours designing, building and facilitating the
'Stable of Terror'. In 2006, with the help of our Interns, we had over
600 hours of teen volunteer community service hours and students from
elementary, middle and high schools (8 different schools) participated
in making the event happen, from helping in the design and
construction of sets, as well as participating on the day of the
event. The word has spread that it's as much fun to build and be an
actor in the event, as it is to find the courage to enter the 'Stable
of Terror'!
Due to the overwhelming attendance of 10,000 people and numerous
requests from the public, the PAC has elected to operate the 'Stable
of Terror' for two additional nights, October 26th and 27th, during
the Halloween weekend in 2007 from 6:30pm until 10:00pm. Admission
will be $7.00 per person.
Admission:* 'Stable of Terror' is included in the General Admission
fee for the Halloween with Horses event on October 20th. *
Anyone interested in volunteering time for this fun-filled event
should contact: The Parker Arts Council at 303-840-5406 or the PAC web
site at www.parkerartscouncil.org
http://parkerartscouncil.org/Stable_Terror.html
Location:* Colorado Horse Park, 7522 South Pinery Drive, Parker,
Colorado, 80134
Dates/Times:* Saturday Oct. 20th "Halloween with Horses Event"
10:00am-5:00pm*
Admission: 'Stable of Terror' is included in the General Admission
fee for the Halloween with Horses event on October 20th.
Friday Oct. 26th "Stable of Terror" only 6:30pm-10:00pm
Saturday Oct. 27th "Stable of Terror" only 6:30pm-10:00pm
A fee of $7.00 per person for the 'Stable of Terror' only will be
charged on the additional nights.
Additionally, the PAC has created a 'Children's Halloween Haunt' for
children under the age of 7 to enjoy. Not so scary, but equally fun,
children can meet costumed hosts that take them through the Pumpkin
Patch, the Spiders' Web, a Haunted Forest and the Groaning Graveyard
complete with sound-activated affects. Parents comments are the
'Children's Halloween Haunt is a great place for the little ones to
have their first haunting experience.
The 'Children's Halloween Haunt' will be open only during the
Halloween with Horses event on October 20th. It will not be open the
following weekend!
